Back to a decent, sensible theme this week! Gonna focus on harbours for this week. Now one might ask yourself, what constitutes a harbour? Google tells me that a harbour is:
So there you have it. Any place that a boat can go when it is stormy can be considered a harbour. I decided to go out to Petty Harbour and snap a few pictures. I took probably 200 pictures so I'll try to showcase my Petty Harbour excursion over the next few days. This picture I took at the end of the dock, right near the breakwater. This was my first time out that far in the day time and I never knew how much of the harbour was actually behind the breakwater, it is quite impressive.
So this picture is one of the harbour, and I wanted to have one of the horn cleats (what you tie the boat onto on the wharf) in the picture too. Since it's winter there weren't many boats in the water, but it also provided me with ample opportunity to roam the area and not be bothered by anyone. Should be a great week!
