This post is a little outside the norm. When we pick a theme for the week we focus our picture taking for that week on that theme. A la if our theme is birds (like this week) then we post pictures we've only taken during that week. Work, weather, and a multitude of other factors have prohibited me from photographing anything of substance this week, so instead I thought I would try this approach.
I decided to go back to my photoset I took last year at the Witless Bay Ecological Reserve and focus on my bird pictures. Now this reserve is a bird sanctuary. A few facts about the reserve: It has North Americas largest puffin colony, it is home to dozen of other bird colonies, and millions of sea birds call this reserve home. It is an absolute incredible site to see, and I encourage everyone to go and check it out.
I went through and edited a bunch of pictures that didn't make the previous blog posting last year. Hopefully tomorrow I can get out and shoot some birds around town.
