This is Brad Wade. I met Brad a several years ago, at a rally I believe. A few weeks back he posted that he finally had a space to have all of his instruments out in one place to jam whenever he wanted rather than taking them out and putting them away. When we choice the theme of environmental portraits I was hoping I'd be able to shoot him in that space, and I was pumped today when he agreed to let me shoot him.
He had a story for each of his guitars; one was named Dixie that he bought for cheap and restored, the one he's playing is Penny which is an American made Strat with a 1954 penny on the volume knob, his drummer's telecaster is in the rack, and an acoustic guitar his grandfather found on the side of the road and gave him when he first started to play.
While we chatted about music and his guitars he was playing playing blues, and some really moody stuff. Super talented. He was pretty modest about it, but he can really play.
