This week the theme is "letters, words, and numbers". No real set rules, as long as the picture contains some of those things I think anything goes. I was pondering ideas this morning looking at my bookshelf and my wife suggested I take a picture of my favourite Newfoundland word from our Newfoundland English Dictionary. I knew immediately it was down between two words: glutch and kinkarn. My grandfather always use to say "I got something stuck in my kinkarn, I can't glutch!" Kinkarn is a term used for throat, and glutch means to swallow (usually with difficulty). For some reason I found this expression very humorous, when thinking about it I think of all the fond memories I've hard over the years with my grandfather.
