Melissa and I took Bigg-E out to Torbay to check out the iceberg that's grounded out there. We bumped into Mark and Maggie while we were there, as we were all very happy to see the iceberg - and each other I guess, haha - we posed for this photo. The iceberg was making a lot of noise, cracking in the water. I don't think it will stay ground there for long and it would be magnificent to watch it roll.
Many people had their cameras out, all of whom were very happy with the massive subject just offshore.
I was really happy to spend the day with my two faves. We also drove through Flatrock, up to Pouch Cove and saw two more much smaller icebergs. That's when we decided to come back and walk out the trail to here.
These two, in the bottom left of the frame, were happy to navigate the minefield of horse poop through private property for a view that was likely not as good as the one we had further east.
