All the stars in the sky appear to rotate around Polaris, the North Star. Because it stays put it reliably points north, hence the name. It's no wonder people thought Earth was the centre of the universe.
This was a twenty+ minute exposure in Terra Nova that I made while at a Young Workers retreat with the Federation of Labour a few years ago. I never noticed the tent across the water until I got the file on my computer and started playing around with it. Creepy.
Technically there's a new theme as of today, but the rules seem off these days - so here's this photo of the night sky that I enjoy but will do differently next time. Any suggestions for a theme?
