Melissa, Melanie, and I drove out to Brigus on Good Friday for a feed of fi & chi, and deep-fried mars bars, haha. The fi & chi was alright, but the mars bars were perfect. We discussed how funny it is that while neither of us are religious, Good Friday is as great an excuse as any to have some fish.
One the way back I took pictures of a few homes that time forgot. Boarded up, concaving roofs, and creepy as hell, they were on the side of the main drag for everyone to watch fall into the earth.
The pink and green on this pale yellow may indicate that it was vacated not that long ago, given the popularity of the pink, white and green flag within the last 10 years. However the flag is much older than that, so perhaps this person loathed confederation. Read more about the flag, but I wouldn't go into this place.
A small stand of trees grows in front of this home a little further down the road, this must have been left alone for over thirty years. The windows were smashed out, allowing the the greyed curtains to blow out, looking not unlike hair.
