I went out to Fort Waldegrave Tuesday morning in the blistering cold and forgot my gloves at home on what was the coldest day of the year so far. Thick clouds on the horizon obscured the sunrise, but it made for a heavy purple sky over town.
I've been shooting more silhouettes lately. I'm interested in the simple lines of common objects and scenes. This is the Queen's Battery with a rose sky before the sun was above the clouds.
