Greg Noel (check out his work) invited me along to shoot some burning steel wool shots Monday night. I've had the gear to do this for a while but have never done it on my own. We had fun and I got to learn a few useful things which is always great.
I thanked Greg, packed up, and headed back to the car around 12:30. When I looked back he was setting up on the rocks again so I set up by camera back by the car and banged out a few images at the short-tely length of 85mm.
Greg was spinning it laterally above his head, and that produced my favourite image of the night.
Playing around with different colour here. Melissa loves the purple-blue hues.
