Roughly 50 showed up at the Supreme Court of NL just a few hours after a not guilty verdict came down for disgraced RNC Constable Doug Snelgrove in a sexual assault case where he raped a drunk woman while on duty after bringing her home from downtown. He broke several RNC protocols, and kept his gun on while he raped her.
Many protestors made signs with clear messages. The protest provided an outlet for the collective rage and disgust from the case and the unjust verdict.
People left around 11:30. There will undoubtably be more demonstrations in the coming days.
